CHARITY JOHNSON

Office Administrator - Platteville, WI Yard

November 1, 2023

“Charity is always willing to help any department or person at BFS Platteville. Charity constantly goes outside her standard job duties. She will help pull loads needed for the day or next day. Charity helps the receiving department by working alongside the forklift operator and double checking the freight we are receiving. She finds returns and have them ready to be shipped that week. She helps truck drivers with their phones, and occasionally will do load checks. Charity also will help our salesmen as far as typing their PO'S. She has a 'Let's get this done' attitude. No job is too big or small for her to accomplish.”

– Lucas Zingler, Receiver

“In the last 12 years Charity has been with our company, she has aided in not only the success of our location, but surrounding locations success as well. She has been a pivotal part of training and developing others. Charity has an eye for detail and looks to develop better systems and processes, not just solve a problem. Charity leads the way with team member recognition and is always looking for ways to bring people together. I am privileged to have been able to work beside her for the last 12 years.”

– Chuck Allendorf, General Manager

“Charity is an extremely valuable asset to the BFS Platteville location in all departments. She is always willing to step in and help no matter what the circumstances. She in constantly striving to be better for the location as well as pushing others to do the same. Charity is not afraid to step in and be involved in the yard whether that be receiving or helping someone identify products. She always is happy to walk someone through a situation where there is opportunity for improvement. BFS Platteville is very lucky to have Charity on our team.”
